Where is ragefire chasm horde
One of them deaths is from the lava which i fell in because a noise made me jump and i walked backwards. Comment by Danjen This is a great place to grind, especially as a twinked warrior. I was level 15 and used a Bloodied Arcanite Reaper and Polished Spaulders of Valor as well as a number of enchants, particularily Lifestealing on the axe.
You spam Rend and Sunder Armor on the mobs and they die really fast, and sometimes the lifestealing triple procced and healed for nearly life every few attacks. This takes a bit of set up, but it's really worth it to get past the first few tedious levels of a new toon. Comment by Best for farming linen cloth at that early tailoring stage, best to just do the half of the instance that has the troggs. Then you leave and restart the instance.
Being a mage, I just ported back to IF Now I'm a sad mage. Edit: also, you can't do it while your phased. Comment by The Achievements tab on this page shows Loremaster for both Horde and Alliance, however the quests tab doesn't show any Alliance quests. This, to me, would suggest there were no requirement to visit the instance to gain Loremaster Status as an Alliance player.
There is, however, a requirement as mentioned above to kill the final boss for the Classic Dungeonmaster achievement. Comment by Solod as a level 20 Beast Mastery hunter, at least up till Taragaman. I had a cat, so anyone with a tenacity pet turtle, bear, etc.
I was in somewhat high gear a few higher-leveled quest rewards from Ghostlands, Tranquillen Champion Cloak, BoA shoulders and dual-wielding BoA weapons. Keep Aspect of the Hawk on the whole time, unless you feel like you'll need to 1v1 an enemy without your pet, in which case you may want Monkey on.
Just make sure your pet keeps aggro the whole time, don't be afraid to Disengage though be careful about falling into lava or, in my case, more enemies , and get ready to use CTRL-1 if an enemy starts attacking you. I'd install Omen to see where you stand threatwise, but every hunter would be smart to have Omen. Starting off fights with a Multi-Shot is good, and when you're fighting mobs you should use multishot whenever it's available.
As for Taragaman, he was a pushover. Make sure all the guard pats are gone before engaging, put a Mark on him and send your pet to start the fight. Wait a couple of second, cast Mend Pet and Serpent Sting, then start bombarding him with auto-shots and arcane shots. Total, I used one healing potion, died once, and didn't even bother using traps. Not very tough. Comment by well my server is very desolate at the moment so what level is required for a normal belfadin to solo this place?
Comment by Got here as alliance lvl 63 Human Pally, just take all gear off and mount up and ride in back gate, I died twice would have been once but died the first time right next to gaurd and when I came back to life bam only got about 10 feet and died again but then just mounted up and ran right to instance. Comment by To get into Ragefire Chasm as an Alliance it's now a huge pain in the rear! You ready for all this? There are several quest chains you need to do. But once all this is finally all done, you can get into Orgrimmar with out much hassle.
I tried this just three days after patch 3. When I tried this, shortly after patch release for Wrath of the Lich King 3.
Couldn't enter instance and got pwnd by guards and other horde players I couldn't do this easy low level dungeon with out doing this huge long quest chain first! Even after I did all this business with questing and running all over the place, I still had issues entering Ragefire Chasm. Hope this helps and you have an easier time then I did!
Happy hunting! Comment by After you are done with the stuff in Dragonblight. Go to Durotar Kalimdor to find Orgrimmar city. The best way I found in was from the Barrons West side entrance into city. Once you run past the guards follow the path past the Valley of Spirits and make the first left you can.
Follow ramp up and make a sharp right into The Cleft of Shadow. The instance is directly across the room. I also did this very early in the morning so I didn't have to encounter any angry Horde players. Once inside dungeon run south and around the U shape back up. Then head South East and kill Taragaman the Hungerer in the center for the four lava ponds. Enjoy your Ragefire Chasm achievement and good luck getting Classic Dungeonmaster achievement! Comment by Thottbot In the Cleft of Shadow.
It's a big foggy portal, takes you in. Quick note, if you run away from something in there, its likely it'll wait at the zone for you, so be ready to go back in fighting.
Comment by Thottbot wait long enough and they'll go away. Comment by Thottbot what level should you be to solo this instance? Comment by Thottbot 1. Varimathras in Lady Sylvanis's Chamber in Undercity gives one. Neeru Fireblade right outside the instance gives one. Some1 on the elder rise of Thunder Bluff gives 2 quests he is not in the main tent on the elder rise, is in a smaller one. Comment by Thottbot For those who are wondering around what level you can be to solo this, I soloed it with my 27 Warrior.
Given this is my first time playing a warrior, I am sure people can do it at a lower level than this. On a few mobs I had to pot simply because I didn't play it right. I ended up getting gold from the greens in the AH and took 45 minutes to an hour killing everything in the instance. Comment by Thottbot Those blues you saw drop were random world drops, like the Butcher for example. Comment by Thottbot Probably It doesnt really matter really since its such a low uncomplex instance.
If your gonna go at 11 or 12 then you might want a group of lvl 15s or 16s at least. Comment by Thottbot what is lowest lvl 2 get in rfc? Comment by Thottbot Yes Due to the patch this intance now drops some niffty blues Comment by Thottbot yo and the blues are under 15 now so thats awsome. Please bump this. Comment by Thottbot Just a quick comment for people who want to farm this place for enchanting it drops mainly strange dust but can drop has thing disenchantable to reciev small glimmering shards and some other things a great place for beggining enchanters my first run i recieved 15 starnge dust which helped me a good deal.
Comment by Thottbot Hello. I'm Groklah, the level 37 Orc Shaman that some of you may have or have not encountered. I'm here to tell you about how to conquer the Ragefire Chasm. It's the easiest instance in the game, allowing players to go in by the level of 8. However, the suggested level is Many of you will have fun times with your friends during this first instance!
However, due to it's relative position in the Horde city of Orgrimmar, it's considered Horde-only. This will introduce players to the instance system. I'm here to do just that! Let's start. At first, the enemies will be very simple. Level maybe even 14 Earthborer worms and at least one Lava Elemental are around the starting area.
The Earthborers can hit like a truck, and they have an even worse trick Earthborer Acid that works like Sunder Armor. It stacked onto me about 3 times, and the armor reduced is absurd. It may even cause nature damage! Report Links. Table of Contents Quick Facts. Comments Comment by Varllok ty mr tips. Comment by Algnosis Thanks Tips! This was a great guide. If you are running this for the first time, make sure to take the time to get all the quests before entering.
You I'll be glad you did. The xp and loot are great when you turn in. Comment by Helvetico While you're in this dungeon feel free to just kill everything. You're here for the experience, might as well get some from the trash mobs too. Robe of Evocation.
Cursed Felblade. Chanting Blade. Testing an Enemy's Strength. Slaying the Beast. Neeru Fireblade. Searching for the Lost Satchel. The Power to Destroy. Hidden Enemies. WoW Classic sounds the return of a long and demanding leveling process, requiring patience and rigour.
