How does borderlands second playthrough work

Eridian Proving Grounds involve defeating three waves of enemies and then a final boss. The boss's loot quality increases depending on your performance: kill everyone quickly without being downed and you could net yourself a legendary item.

Eridian Proving Grounds is one way to get high-level loot, while the other is just farming raid bosses on Mayhem Mode. Since the recent hotfix , the most recommended boss to farm is Graveward as it can be done quickly.

Since Graveward doesn't have a timed invulnerability period, you just need to do a boatload of damage to make dead. Here's an example of how to kill Graveward in about 30 seconds with a crit-based Fl4k built.

Beat the game with one vault hunter? Now do it again with a different one. Each character has a completely different playstyle, so playing them completely changes the game. How does playthrough 2. Is there a minimum level for playthrough 2? When do you enter the vault in playthrough 2? When do you get playthrough 2.

Thank you for the explanation. It was hugely helpful. However, I'm just trying to answer for myself "at what point have I done everything that needs to be done here? Okay, perhaps I didn't complete the game just yet. How far am I away from the end of the game? Bacchus View Profile View Posts. Borderlands 2 have 3 playthroughs. My proclivity is just to beat the game on 1st time through. Eleazaros View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by NoInformationGiven :. Where can I go through a checklist to see whether I've gone through all of the missions? I have nothing left other than Crawermax in my in-game mission list. In short, what the answer appears to be is that since there are more badass enemies, who generally drop better loot, in story segments or Proving Grounds or Slaughterhouse, you are probably going to get more legendary drops in TVHM.

Rather, the biggest differences are by far from jumping through the different Mayhem levels, where you can see loot drops increase exponentially the higher you go. And yet many players may not find TVHM worth farming if say, it dumps a ton of Anointed enemies on you which can make the game borderline unplayable with Mayhem health increases. Generally speaking, you should probably not find all that much of a difference farming Mayhem on Normal and farming Mayhem on TVHM.

At best, you may see a few extra drops from an abundance of harder enemies, but it may not be worth the cost of making farming runs take significantly longer depend on the enemy selection you get. This is all very confusing, and why I think Gearbox is planning a complete top to bottom of the Mayhem system this year, and I am guessing that may incorporate Normal and TVHM difficulty as well.
